India is known for its traditional food products and from many years traditional food products are being manufactured at house hold level, today many of them have grown from small scale to large scale manufacturing, without much of the technical involvement, lack of process automaton specially where human handling may bring unhygienic or cross contamination without objectionable substances. With the growing mandatory need of Indian as well as International food laws it is the time Industry must transform.
There is a growing need to inculcate skills among the general work force as well as the technical professionals to continually upgrade them to the specific needs of food processing industry. To face the global competition, Food processing Industry needs specially trained personnel. The Institute provides 360o services to the Food Processing Industry through Hands on Training Programs, and Consultancy on Products, Processes, Supply linkages, and Legal advisory.
NAFARI is a “DSIR, Government of India” for in-house R&D unit. NAFARI is also an approved “Training Partner” of “FoSTaC” under Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to conduct mandatory Food Safety Supervisor Trainings and recommend certification of candidate to FSSAI. The Institute has affiliated as a “Vocational Training Provider” by Food Industry Capacity and Skill Initiative (FICSI) under National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
Our trainings are expected to train the trainers, technical heads and departments, faculties, fresh graduates as well as under graduates, till shop floors, budding entrepreneurs and also reaching out to Agri producers who are getting ready to processes and produce value added products from farm to fork in the supply chain.
